The San Antonio Garden Center, Inc. is a non-profit corporation that serves as an umbrella of nearly two dozen local garden clubs, plant societies and related organizations.

Founded in 1940, San Antonio Garden Center opened our current building at 3310 North New Braunfels Ave. in 1966.

Our mission is to inform and educate the public about gardening, horticulture and floral design. The members and individual clubs also donate hundreds of hours to garden therapy projects next year benefiting civic organizations that serve children, women, the aged and the disadvantaged.

Monthly Garden Center meetings are held the first Wednesday of the month, September through May. All of our meetings are open to the public.
